On today’s show, we are supporting Chris Bradfield, Chairman of ‘Sounds Commercial’ an Events company based in St George, Bristol. Chris is organising and sponsoring former Bristol City player - Gerry Gow’s Testimonial year and the next event on the calender is a Gala Dinner at the Marriott Hotel, College Green, central Bristol. The event takes place on Friday the 18th of November at 7.30pm and requires Lounge Suit/Cocktail Dress attire. For tickets and further information please contact Chris on 07778 130077 or email k.martin@soundscommercial.co.uk

In Rugby Union, its was the Quarter Final stages of the World Cup in New Zealand. England lost 19-12 to France whilst there was an all celtic affair between Ireland and Wales and the boys from the valleys came out on top by 22 points to 10. It was the Japanese Grand Prix from Suzuka this weekend and World Championship leader Sebastien Vettel secured the world title after finishing third behind race winner Jenson Buton and in Rugby League, Leeds Rhino’s defeated St Helen’s in the end of season Grand final at Old Trafford. I also had a Cricket tribute to ex England Fast Bowler Graham Dilley (Ashes hero) who sadly passed away this week at the age of 52 from cancer.

We previewed Bristol Rovers League Two fixture at Oxford United (3pm) and looked back on the Bristol Academy Woman’s European Football experience in Russia as coach Mark Sampson reflected on a two legged defeat. There was also reaction from Bristol City Caretaker Manger Steve Wigley after the sacking of Keith Millen and we reviewed Bristol Rugby’s Friday night victory over Nottingham by 18 points to 15 at the Memorial stadium. Bristol now head the Championship table.
