![]() On Our Show This WeekMore Info: www.shoutoutbristol.org.uk As this show was first broadcast on World AIDS Day, it seemed very appropriate to host a special show about HIV and AIDS. While quite a serious show, compared to most, the topic is a serious one and the team felt it important to try and get as much information across as we can pack into an hour’s show. We spoke to Karl about the events going on at the Baptist church plus our guests, Berkley and Ken, talked about what things were like when HIV was first discovered and what life is like now living with the disease. Ben also managed to catch up with Steve Jones from THT to find out more about testing and current treatments. If you or someone you know is concerned about HIV/AIDS, or you’d like advise about it, you can get more information from THT or BLAGS – websites listed below..
