The 4th Floor launch promo
Launch show Wednesday 1st February at 8pm repeated Saturday 4th February at 9pm with guest DJ/Producer Richard Dolby from Staple Hill
Richard Dolby started DJing in the mid 90′s playing house at such nights as Safe House. At this point Richard put on a live pa for Safe House at the Fleece n Firkin. Playing as Epoch, Richard stirred up much local interest. Focussing his energies on dj-ing, Richard Dolby secured a residencies with Lakota night Feverish… and with Safe House. In 2001, Richard gained wide media attention by setting the first Guinness World Record for longest club dj set (48h 3m). 2002 saw him hanging up his headphones “…if the tunes arent doing it for me I’d really rather not play at all!”. Enticed by the rejuvinating sounds of electro, Richard has bounced back onto the scene (largely thanks to Gus Young, Floorgazer). After 6 years off of the dj-ing circuit and 4 years since his last album, Richard returns to the studio to produce some more pumping, uplifting and honestly made muisc.
