This weeks guest ‘Duncan Crane’
As with most Djs, Duncan shared his passion of music by mixing his favourite records together for himself & for friends, way back at the beginning of the 90′s. By chance, a promoter got hold of one of these tapes & liked it so much he gave Duncan his first gig under his moniker of Nifty. During the mid 90s as clubs came back “en vogue” he gained residencies at various clubs including, the then legendary, Lakota, playing alongside all the usual big names. Duncan wanted to do more than just play other peoples records, so the obvious next step was to begin producing his own tracks. After a few early experimental releases under different guises, he had his first main release for Hope Recordings which gained international support from Herman Cattano, Hybrid & Nick Warren amongst others. His production skills were then enlisted by Deepgroove which resulted in releases on record labels Hardhouse & FourTwenty recordings. With various projects & remixes in the pipeline, collaborating with various artists of varying genres, you can be sure that you will see the names DC & Ulterior Motive increasingly on the scene.
