Alas folks due to me getting the galloping socket rot in my left eye, honestly, I look like homer simpson with a cherry tomato in his left socket at the moment, so the very beautiful Zara is going to delight you with some of her favourite tunes whilst I recuperate!

But you see (no pun intended) I’m not the only one eyed monster which doth mock the meat I feed upon, I’m in good company, me hearties!

If you’re wondering why this page has a picture from The Avengers, from The Saint and

from Doctor Who, well one of the people who link these classic TV series’ is the feller standing

behind Tom Baker in the picture.  His name was Terry Nation and he worked on all of those shows

as well as creating some classic drama in the seventies. Matt Davis pops in to talk about some of Terry’s early work

including his iconic creation; The Daleks.

There’s the usual pot-pourri of sketches, music and general madness and I apologise if you’re a fan of Dana for

When the Federation finally close down this cesspit, I’m going to have that vulpine degenerate eviscerated with a very small and very blunt knife!  Not my words, oh no, I couldn’t condone such violence.. these are the words of that charming character pictured above called Servalan.  Who is she?  Only the ice queen icon from BBC’s classic 1970/80′s cult series blakes 7.

……………………………………………………………………………………IT’s!

This week we celebrate the work of those comedy geniuses?  Geniui? Jeanie-wusses?  Them clever inspirational goons, Monty Python… yes I know they weren’t the goons, well the goons were the goons but monty python; well they’re brilliant! This week we are joined my self-confessed Palin afficianado Melissa Brooks, who talks to us about the appeal of the Python’s in the states their TV series, records, films and even has some rumours of a new and exciting project that may be on it’s way.  There’s always mayhem afoot when the Python’s are about and this week was no exception.  You see, dear listener, a gremlin McGuffin sneaked into the BCFM computer system and faded out a bit of Mel’s interview and chopped the end of the show off but fear not, we’ll play the python interview at a later date.
