Community radio is all about giving people a voice. BCfm 93.2fm is a great example of a radio station that gives this voice to many different people from all parts of Bristol, cultures, ages and abilities

We have regular induction days for new volunteers. The next induction day will be 2nd October 2010 at 10.30am the BCfm studios. Please email Joanne if you wish to attend this session. Please research BCfm fully before applying to be part of the team so you know what we are looking for

We welcome volunteers who have an interest in Community issues and who would like to represent an organisation, culture, community group or who have an interest in music or Bristol issues. Regular training courses are on offer for ALL new volunteers and we would like to develop your skills in many ways, whether as a presenter, producer, researcher or general assistant.

For those who have already attended an induction at the station, here are the training dates:

August 16th, 17th, 18th from 6pm till 8pm

Jobs you could be doing:

Basic adminn people, editors, feature makers, news reporters, what’s on makers, website admin and presenters

After this you will be allocated a mentor and could then be involved in certain shows on air
